Thoughts on Marriage (CH 14 on Textbook)
This is a two-part prompt:

Discuss your feelings about marriage (no personal self-disclosure is required). What are the reasons that someone who is single would decide to not marry?  If married, what are some of the reasons why someone would decide to marry? Please be sure to discuss in terms of the factors described in the text (and include an external resource to support your answer!).
When do you think is the best time in the life cycle for a man or a woman to get married? If you picked different ages for the best time to get married for a man or a woman, explain why.

As a follow up for item number 2, pretend the year is 1950, when would the best time be for a man or woman to get married? If you picked different ages for the present vs. 1950s, explain why.
